Apatite comprises a group of phosphate minerals. It is commonly blue and green in color, but can also be yellow, pink, brown, violet. Mineral deposits can be found in Austria, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Madagascar, Namibia, Portugal, South Africa, UK, and United States.
